I never thought photography course as a requirement I believed myself to be a good photographer since the pictures clicked by me were clear and could be edited much to it was not my concerned.
I work as a freelance content writer and I got a job suggestion on nukri.com specifying a requirement for photography.
I thought I was suitable for the post as content writing was an added benefit with me but shockingly I was rejected in the interview for the photographer as I knew nothing about the details of clicking or being clicked it was then that I analyzed why a photo shoot had to be with ace photographers and not a random person out of thin air could be a professional photographer in this field. I hate being rejected and I have a habit of getting into the depth of the reason why I was rejected.
So I started looking out for firms which took a Photography course in Kolkata.
I came across the website of the international institute of Film and fine arts. I was not very sure of the website so as a habit started navigating through the link http://www.filmandfinearts.com/.They had with them a variety of courses amidst which you could choose your desired vocational course.
IIFA has its own placement cell and counseling sessions which help the candidates finalize their beneficial vocation course. Their own production house named as the GoldenEye Production is an added benefit for the candidates. I found the Institute relevant to my need and decided to take admission in it. I looked out for the various courses specified on the website and fill the online available form for being enrolled in the course. I was given a call by the institute and was asked to come down to their place for the other formalities. I was put in the batch of a photography course in Kolkata as they offered this vocation course for graduates and postgraduate level. They asked me if I wanted to be a regular student or attend the class online I preferred the regular class mode. The class started with a short description and I was detailed about the latest equipment and nurtured the art of the perfect click.
I was offered various placements but I chose to keep to Goldeneye foundation and over the years I have learned a lot. I still thank that rejected interview due to which I could master another skill which was untouched by me. The classmates I had along with my batch at IIFA were helpful and all had their differed field of expertise.
It’s for sure that now there would be no more rejections on my end. So if you are a class 10th pass out get your necessary documents and prefer being enrolled for a vocational course these vocational courses help you stand out amidst the crowd.
With IIFA the added benefit is that they have specified slots of admission and each student is given necessary attention by the teachers due to small batches and after completion, this added skill helps you enroll in your desired colleges.
